  • Corners: 19

  • Direction: Clockwise

  • Elevation Change: ~100+ meters (big drops and climbs)

  • Sectors: 3 very distinct sections

  • Typical Hypercar Lap: ~2:00 – 2:05 depending on sim and BoP

In the Simulator Feel

Spa is pure adrenaline in a Hypercar. Long high-speed sections reward commitment, while the technical twists punish any hesitation. The elevation changes give an amazing sensation of speed and weight transfer, especially in the famous Eau Rouge/Raidillon complex.

Flow & Iconic Sections:

  • La Source → Tight hairpin start, good for overtaking.

  • Eau Rouge & Raidillon → The most legendary uphill left-right-left. Flat-out in modern Hypercars — heart-in-mouth stuff.

  • Kemmel Straight → Long top-speed run with DRS/hybrid boost.

  • Les Combes → Fast downhill right-hander.

  • Malmedy & Speaker’s Corner → Technical high-speed direction changes.

  • Pouhon → Sweeping double left — pure commitment.

  • Fagnes & Stavelot → Fast, flowing right-left.

  • Blanchimont → High-speed left with massive commitment.

  • Bus Stop Chicane → Final slow section before the long pit straight.

Driving Characteristics:

  • High-Speed Corners: Demands total confidence (especially Eau Rouge, Pouhon, and Blanchimont).

  • Elevation: Huge compression and unloading — the car feels alive.

  • Braking Zones: Heavy into La Source, Bus Stop, and Les Combes.

  • Traction: Critical out of slow corners and on the climb to Raidillon.

  • Overall: Fast, flowing, and immensely rewarding. One of the most enjoyable tracks to master in sim racing.

Driving Style Tip: Commit fully through the fast sections — carry as much speed as possible through Eau Rouge, Pouhon, and Blanchimont. Be smooth on throttle and brakes; the car loves momentum. In mixed conditions, tire choice and hybrid deployment become game-changers.

Spa-Francorchamps is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and challenging circuits on the planet. Whether it’s dry, damp, or pouring rain, every lap feels epic. A must-drive classic for any sim racer!
